Toward the end of WW2, the allies and the Germans were building the first jet/airplanes that could fly at unheard speeds. Jet technology brought swift change to the military craft. Along with new high speed fighter tactics that were deployed in the Korean and Vietnam wars. Jet engines revolutionized passenger transport, Spawning jumbo jets and supersonic transport. But there is one downside to the faster speed of the new jets and that’s the G-Force. The normal pull of gravity is 1 Gs but the faster you go the harder it is for your blood to circulate through your body. At 2 Gs your vision starts to fade and at 6 Gs the pilot can’t lift his arms which can put him in real danger. Faster speed brought faster technology. Like lighter bombs and more accurate radars and new planes that can’t pop up on radar. Some planes that can go without gas because of solar panels that can help you go as far out as you want. Some planes can go so fast they can break the sound barrier. Also stealth bombers and fighters, because of their odd shape there invisible to all radars which makes them even more deadly. That and the fact that it can carry really destructive bombs. This is just the start we still have so much more, like unmanned jets, and satellites and self guided missiles to build. But till then we are where we are with science and not much more because this is the airplane: revolution in warfare.
